Reflection of Watercolors- Jan 27th 1. My paintings are creative and and have a strong meaning, which is what I think makes them good. This is because my style is different from most people's. 2. I could have done better with the quality of the paintings, because I'm not satisfied with the way a lot of things turned out. 3. My paintings are all tied together in a certain way, this being the heart that starts out falling apart and ends up being whole in the future within each painting. 4. The colors I picked are more of cool colors and are in the cold color family because it's not really meant to be happy, it's meant to tell a story. 5. I've desided there is many different watercolor techiques and I like how there's so many options to choose from with this kind of painting. I really like that because I like having diversity with my work. 6. I learned that it's helpful to have some rough draft sketches planned out before you start your paintings. Also, I learned that you should not text in this class. 7. My paintings have a strong meaning that is to be inturpted through some hard times in life but ends up being all worth it and turning out ok. I created them this way because I like to paint what I feel, and that's how I'm feeling about things right now. It was planned out but I changed some things as I went. 8. The skills I'll apply are using details and making sure I have clean water so it won't effect the paint I use when I'm working on a project. I'm going to apply this to my work to get a better result from my project.
